This small brass whistle is adorned with a carving horse's head, wreathed in flames. When blown, it emits an eerie, haunting sound. The bearer of this whistle can harness its power to summon a Nightmare steed from the depths of the lower planes.

As an action, if you blow the whistle while attuned to it, you summon a Nightmare as if casting the Find Steed spell. The summoned Nightmare is bound to the bearer and serves as a loyal steed.

Additionally, when the bearer is riding the summoned Nightmare, an aura of malevolent energy emanates from them. Creatures hostile to the bearer have disadvantage on saving throws against fear effects while within 10 feet of the Nightmare.
